Founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1950, Legal Sea Foods has been serving great tasting sea food, hamburgers, steak, and sandwiches for the past six decades. Known for their ocean-fresh seafood, Legal Sea Food is a famous restaurant chain with locations in the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

The typical menu:

As for the typical menu, many restaurants serve swordfish, tuna, Atlantic salmon, mahi mahi, and rainbow trout. Lobsters, shrimp, sea scallops, haddock, oysters are also commonly found on many menus. Depending on the day, many menu items are based on the day’s daily catch and some items are rather expensive. Examples of expensive dishes are swordfish as it can range up to $25.95, tuna $25.50, and Atlantic salmon can also cost $23.95. Despite these high prices, Legal Sea Foods is definitely a great restaurant to eat at as the food and beverages are superb.

Legal Sea Foods restaurants are a very accommodating restaurant as individuals have many choices to choose from. Typical restaurants offer an all-day menu, dessert, gluten-free, a take-out, and a kids’ menu. Menus may also vary on holidays as I remember that there is a different menu for Thanksgiving.

Personal experience:

As for my personal experience, I have been eating at many different Legal Sea Foods throughout the years. The restaurant in Framingham is excellent and conveniently located across from Shopper’s World and the Natick Collection. Last Saturday I ate at the new location in Boston, Massachusetts on the waterfront and was surprised at the restaurant’s elegance, sophistication, and excellent meals. The waiter was extremely nice and welcoming and was very informative when asked questions about specific menu items. Staying true to myself, I ordered a well-done hamburger with French fries and was completely satisfied with the meal. I also ordered a skinny pina colada that was extraordinary. With great service and an excellent meal, the waiter received a well-deserved generous tip.

On a side note:

The hamburgers at Legal Sea Foods are much better than the hamburgers at Aegean Restaurant, Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse, Dudley Chateau, Five Guys, and Papa Gino’s hamburgers.

Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Legal Sea Foods to any individual who enjoys sea food. Legal Sea Foods is also great for young couples, romantic occasions, and private dining.
